1. Home
owners/Business owners who have troubles keeping track of their remotes/finding
lost ones.
2&3. Interviews:
a.
Interviewee #1: This man, who lives in his own home
with 5 different Tvs can never find his remotes. With each person in his house
hold constantly losing their remotes in their bedrooms, he’s constantly tearing
up the place to find them again. He mentioned he has had to buy new remotes
several times because when one goes missing, someone in his house steals a
different one from a different room and uses it for themselves. He mentioned he
would invest a lot of money into my tvs with the “Find remote” button.
b.
Interviewee #2: This woman, who works at Ale
House mentioned they are always losing their remotes or mixing them up. With
over 20 TV’s in the bar and such a large space to cover, remotes are frequently
misplaced. My feature would be a big help at the end of the night and the
beginning of their work shift when they are turning all their tv’s on.
c.
Interviewee #3: College student at UF said she
is always losing her remote. With only one to keep track of, it shouldn’t be
such a big problem but it is. Mentioned she has missed 15 minutes of the bachelor
last time it came on because she couldn’t find her remote and she was extremely
annoyed. My feature will ensure she’ll never miss a second of the bachelor ever
again, she says.
4. There’s
only one thing they can do, and that is look for their remote. I am trying to
end the frustration that comes with the search. There is no reason anyone
should miss tv time because they are irresponsible. My feature will help them
track their remote faster and easier than ever.
5. I
learned that a variety people have this unmet need. No matter where you live or
where you work, you’ll always find a tv in your area. Keeping track of remotes shouldn’t
be as hard as it is and this Is why I must end this hassle.
6. I
believe everyone is aware of their situation. Responsible or not, its bound to
happen multiple times.
This is a great idea because it could help so many people worldwide. Losing something that is really valuable, not in money, but for times sake and necessity canoe difficult at times. Great idea!
ReplyDeleteHey Gianna!
ReplyDeleteI really believe your idea would go far if you pursued it. I also occasionally loose my control and would really love something like this in my home. It's interesting that a lot of people can relate to this but there are also people who don't watch TV. It would also be good to interview people like that and maybe find out what they frequently loose and consider broadening your product into something that can find multiple things. Great post!
Hey Gianna,
ReplyDeleteI think that the people you interviewed are perfect examples of the people in your target market. They show a need for finding their remotes and right now they only have one way, to look. Your product is differently a great solution to the unmet need. I really like the outreach to the Ale House because it shows your product goes beyond the typical home entertainment.
