My venture idea was simply a TV that has a "find your remote" button attached to the side. It will look no different from other TV's but will complete stand out to buyers when seeing the 1 feature that no other TV provider has.

30A - Final Reflection
This class to say the least, was not an easy A. While I appreciate that it had my gears turning, a lot of work was put into this semester. I had a love hate with working on the same idea for the entire semester. I liked that I was able to grow my idea from the bottom up but I wished we could have done more at the same time. Although I'm pretty sure that my idea could honestly become something I could invest in later in life. I think this class taught me a lot about business and entrepreneurship. The things we were asked to do were such minimal tasks but they were all building into a full course plan on how to become an entrepreneur. Though I felt some assignments were repetitive, I see their significance. Building on a plan to make it as great as can be is important when trying to make a change. You plan and you plan until every tweak possible has been done. For future students, I would advise working on assignments sooner than later because some are a bit time consuming. I would also recommend to attend the workshops and really put effort into doing well in the class.

28A-Your exit strategy
1. If I were to go through the trouble of building this huge empire for myself, I would never want an outsider to steal all my credit. So for this reason I would give my company to my family if something were to happen to me. I believe family is super important and being able to pass down something I started for my family to finish would mean so much to me and my business.
2. I chose family because family knows best. I would always expect quality over quantity and I fear if I pass down my company to some money hungry thieves, my company would have a terrible reputation.
3. I want my business to be family ran and owned. If I were to build this empire, I would ask no one but my close friends and family to help me out because I know at the end of the day, they can be trusted. From the beginning, it was about family and it will stay that way till the end of time.

26A- Celebrating Failure
1. Statistics has been abnormally hard for me this semester. I have always hated stats since I took AP stats in my Junior year of High school and I thought once it was over I'd never have to look back. This year I switched my major and realized I had to take stats again and I thought it would be a lot easier because of prior knowledge. Turns out, trying to remember something I barely learned 4 years ago would be a lot harder to apply into this semester was a lot harder than I thought it would be. Exam 1 came around and I was up for a solid 3 days long trying to teach myself all the material. I went into the exam super confident that I was going to be holding a big W afterwards. Long story short I got a 35% on my exam. I was probably a lot more dramatic than I should've been but no one saw my face for a whole week. I have a mini fridge and a full equipped bathroom I had no business showing my failure of a face around that week. After that, I decided I would not wait till last minute to study for a stats exam ever again. Guess what I did tho? Waited last minute AS HELL. Long story short, with through another 4 days of no sleep to cram and failed YET AGAIN. Idk if I even needed to say this but I 100% withdrew from that class.
2. So I'm going to have to retake stats again over summer and I am going into it completely ready to show my teacher I am better than spring semester. Now that I kind of know the material, I am fully capable of passing the class.... next semester that is. I will start studying weeks in advance and not wait last minute to teach myself a whole unit's worth of material.
3. Failing is difficult, especially a class. But i am thankful I am allowed to retake the class instead of accepting failure.

19A- Idea Napkin No.2
1) You.
My Name is Gianna Caceres. I am a first generation American and I am proud. I find myself to be very detailed and business oriented. My dad comes from a long line of business men and he has instilled that mindset into me and my sister. My aspirations in life would be to follow in my fathers footsteps and become a business woman myself. Regarding my product, I think it is a very doable task to complete. With my background in business and innovation I am sure it will pass with flying colors.
2) What are you offering to customers?
I am simply offering my customers an easier way of living. My product insures a fast and effective way of doing things. With my find remote button, people will no longer have to deal with the hassle of searching for it themselves.
3) Who are you offering it to?
My product would be for anyone and everyone who wants to have a TV. Whether it is for personal use or business, everyone can benefit from my find tv remote feature. Anyone can work this, even children and that's why I think it will be very beneficial in the long run.
4) Why do they care?
They care because no one wants to spend hours searching for their TV remote.
5) What are your core competencies?
What sets me apart from everyone else is that this has not yet been done. There is not a single TV out there with the feature I am trying to pursue.
I believe my business plan is a strong one. These 5 elements will be the core elements to my business plan. Before pursuing anything you must ask yourself essential questions to get anywhere. By figuring out my strengths and weaknesses, I am then able to figure out the rights and wrongs and improve the wrongs to make them right.
Feed Back Memo:
Everyone loved my product. From here, I just have to work out the kinks to make this idea a reality. No one can argue that this will not be revolutionary.

18A- customer avatar
I'm so dead ^
My Customer is the hard working middle aged male who has too much hair and priorities to sit and pick at their face for hours to get a precise shave in. My Avatar is usually involved in complicated relationships and finds himself letting himself go some days more than others. With so much hair and not enough energy, he tends to let his facial hair get out of control until visiting their mother and her completely ruining his self esteem. Hair-away is an easy, before bed face scrub that even the laziest, single, slob of a man can handle. He has been through 2 divorces already and just doesn't see the point of holding it together anymore. He definitely drives some sort of a truck that he has completely driven to the ground its so old. He drinks way too much beer and spends all his free time watching some kind of sport on ESPN. His wife's left him because he completely stopped trying to look good and that's just the type of guy he is.
Don't be this guy. Buy my product.
17A Elevator Pitch pt 2
https://youtu.be/bKbqI_Wjxz8
2) I liked that people actually enjoyed my product and that they thought I delivered a good pitch because I wasn't very confident in it. I did get criticized on my use of "Um" and I tried to be better this time but I really need to work on this in my everyday life lol
3) I tried to enunciate my words better and I actually did my hair this time since I looked so rugged last time and someone actually commented on that thanks whoever you are.

12A- Figuring out buyer behavior
1. Home
owners/Business owners who have troubles keeping track of their remotes/finding
lost ones.
2&3. Interviews:
a.
Interviewee #1: This man, who lives in his own home
with 5 different Tvs can never find his remotes. With each person in his house
hold constantly losing their remotes in their bedrooms, he’s constantly tearing
up the place to find them again. He mentioned he has had to buy new remotes
several times because when one goes missing, someone in his house steals a
different one from a different room and uses it for themselves. He mentioned he
would invest a lot of money into my tvs with the “Find remote” button.
b.
Interviewee #2: This woman, who works at Ale
House mentioned they are always losing their remotes or mixing them up. With
over 20 TV’s in the bar and such a large space to cover, remotes are frequently
misplaced. My feature would be a big help at the end of the night and the
beginning of their work shift when they are turning all their tv’s on.
c.
Interviewee #3: College student at UF said she
is always losing her remote. With only one to keep track of, it shouldn’t be
such a big problem but it is. Mentioned she has missed 15 minutes of the bachelor
last time it came on because she couldn’t find her remote and she was extremely
annoyed. My feature will ensure she’ll never miss a second of the bachelor ever
again, she says.
4. There’s
only one thing they can do, and that is look for their remote. I am trying to
end the frustration that comes with the search. There is no reason anyone
should miss tv time because they are irresponsible. My feature will help them
track their remote faster and easier than ever.
5. I
learned that a variety people have this unmet need. No matter where you live or
where you work, you’ll always find a tv in your area. Keeping track of remotes shouldn’t
be as hard as it is and this Is why I must end this hassle.
6. I
believe everyone is aware of their situation. Responsible or not, its bound to
happen multiple times.
